The manufacturing process of photovoltaic solar panels begins with the exploitation and transformation of silicon. Silicon is the main material of all those that make up a module. The first step is to melt the silicon, followed by its refinement. Thanks to the smelting and refining processes, it reaches a purity that is close to 100%.

When the silicon is still in a liquid state, it is placed between 2 layers: one of boron and the other of phosphorus. This allows the electrodes to circulate. In this last layer the conductive elements are also placed, which are then connected to the boron layer. This connection is what ultimately produces the energy.
